Esporte Clube Bahia announced a partnership with BYD, which will sponsor the club. The brand also acquired naming rights to Náutico's Estádio Eládio de Barros Carvalho. The choice of the club is a way to celebrate the region where the brand installed its first factory in Brazil – in Camaçari, in Bahia. Alexandre Baldy, senior vice president of BYD in Brazil and head of commercial of BYD Auto, said that the company understands a lot about Brazilians and their passions, besides cars, mainly football. "Since 2023 we have been based in Bahia and we were so well received that we want to return this good reception. Sponsoring Esporte Clube Bahia was a natural move", he said. Meanwhile, Esportes da Sorte not only renewed the sponsorship agreement with Náutico Capibaribe, but also acquired the naming rights of Estádio Eládio de Barros Carvalho. Under the agreement, the stadium will be called Estádio Esportes da Sorte Aflitos and the investment forecast is R$ 9.6 million, with the possibility of R$ 2.9 million, depending on the club's achievements. In a statement, Darwin Filho, CEO of Grupo Esportes Gaming Brasil, declared that taking over the naming rights of Aflitos is actively participating in the preservation and strengthening of the heritage. "It's a stadium that carries identity, memory and belonging. It's an honor for Esportes da Sorte to make the largest financial partnership in Náutico's history and contribute to the club's progress in a structured and competitive way", he declared.
